Meeting up and sleeping together for about a month should I ask if we will end up dating?

I've been seeing this guy for about a month and everything is good I go to his and we've been out on dates an everything he's really sweet and I really like him when were not together we text eachother everyday and he says he misses me. Should I ask if he wants to take things further an start dating or is a month too soon?
